LONDON: Queen Elizabeth II's husband Prince Philip is to leave hospital Tuesday, four days after having been rushed in for heart surgery, a Buckingham Palace spokesman said.
"His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh will be discharged from Papworth Hospital this morning," said the statement, referring to him by his royal title.
"He will return to Sandringham to join the queen and other members of the royal family."
Philip, 90, was rushed to hospital on Friday complaining of chest pains and required an emergency procedure to unblock a coronary artery.
