KARACHI: Irfan Iqbal Sheikh, President Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), has apprised that the much-awaited, most prestigious and annual achievement awards of FPCCI will be held on 23rd December in Islamabad.
Mohamed Karmoune, Acting Dean of Diplomatic Corps Islamabad& Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary of Morocco, will be the Chief Guest of Honour. This will be the 11th edition of the annual awards.
He said that FPCCI is the apex body of Pakistan, representing all 250 chambers, associations and trade bodies of the country in trade, industry and services sectors.
Sheikh maintained that this is the first time that a number of dignitaries representing Pakistan’s trading partners and major foreign investors would honour this prestigious ceremony and it will provide a unique opportunity to Pakistan’s business community to tap enormous potential of the event to tap into huge commercial possibilities across the globe.
FPCCI Chief highlighted that like every year FPCCI’s Achievement Awards will be widely covered by all leading national and international news outlets. This publicity and outreach of the awards will be an added advantage for the Pakistani entrepreneurs, aimed at encouraging and recognising the performance of the businessmen who have performed tirelessly to promote Pakistan’s trade and industry.
