US Central Command (Centcom) chief General Michael Erik Kurilla acknowledged and appreciated Pakistan Army’s successes in the fight against terrorism and the continued efforts for bringing peace and stability in the region.

This was according to the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) that released a statement after Kurilla met Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir on Monday.

Matters of mutual interest, regional security situation and defence cooperation were discussed, the ISPR added.

‘‘Both sides reiterated the desire to further enhance bilateral relations in all fields,’’ ISPR said.

The meeting comes as Islamabad continued to press on Afghanistan to rein in militants responsible for terrorist attacks in Pakistan.

Last week, the US State Department said that Taliban has the responsibility to prevent Afghanistan from being used as a safe haven for launching terrorist attacks.

’‘I don’t have any comment specifically on that, but I will say we have made very clear that we believe the Taliban has the responsibility to prevent Afghanistan from being used as a safe haven for launching terrorist attacks,“ US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said on being asked on the uptick in militancy in Pakistan.

China will always be our brother no matter how badly our elite class has fucked up our country. I have zero hope for Pakistan absolutely zero. The world has progressed so much in the field of science and technology, research and development, aircrafts and microchips, metals and extraction that those nations where elite class dominate everything are pretty much fucked up and are breathing their last. May be the elite class will survive as usual because from the past 75 years they are surviving by begging for dollars and giving up the honor, respect and sovereignty to those western masters but overall the nation has been destroyed. Look at the gdp per capita, exports, fdi, r&d, education and even infrastructure. We are doomed because of the elite class and the ignorance of illiterate and hyper charged religious people. If Pakistani really like their religion then they should prove it by throwing rockets on american and european embassies in Pakistan and kill all elite western puppets.
