NEW DELHI: India has raised the price at which it will buy new season wheat from local farmers in 2023 by 110 rupees to 2,125 rupees ($25.84) per kg, Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur said on Tuesday.

China sold 41,359 tonnes of wheat at reserve auction

The higher purchase price is expected to encourage farmers to boost wheat output.
