ISLAMABAD: Evacuee Trust Properties Board (ETPB) has reportedly issued notice to Awami Muslim League Chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed to vacate Lal Haveli within seven days.
However, Rashid said that he has not yet received notice to vacate Lal Haveli and has been hearing about it from media reports.
According to media reports, Deputy Administrator ETPB has issued notice Sheikh Rasheed and his brother to vacate Lal Haveli within 7 days; otherwise, he will be arrested by the police.
According to media reports ETPB has also written a letter to Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi for police assistance to get vacated the Lal Haveli and other units on October 19.
According to the Deputy Administrator, multiple hearings have been held for 7 properties of Evacuee Trust including Lal Haveli but Sheikh Rashid and his brothers were unable submit any authentic document.
