KARACHI: On Tuesday at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 13.593 billion and the number of lots traded at 10,540. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 3.258 billion, followed by Crude Oil (PKR 3.025 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.364 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 2.537 billion), DJ (PKR 788.522 million), Silver (PKR 653.671 million), Natural Gas (PKR 524.131 million), Platinum (PKR 156.736 million), SP 500 (PKR 120.910 million), Copper (PKR 105.001 million), Japan Equity (PKR 48.477 million) and Brent (PKR 9.445 million). In Agricultural commodities, 3 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 2.990 million were traded.
