KARACHI: On Friday at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 12.858 billion and the number of lots traded at 12,352.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 3.678 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.635 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.844 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.833 billion), DJ (PKR 1.238 billion), Silver (PKR 914.088 million), Platinum (PKR 275.417 million), Japan Equity (PKR 215.371 million), SP 500 (PKR 130.888 million), Natural Gas (PKR 47.185 million), Copper (PKR 35.923 million) and Brent (PKR 8.045 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 2 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 1.838 million were traded.
