KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 16.839 billion and the number of lots traded at 14,185.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 5.152 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 3.759 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 2.195 billion), Natural Gas (PKR 1.720 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.508 billion), DJ (PKR 1.229 billion), Silver (PKR 780.430 million), Platinum (PKR 133.067 million), Copper (PKR 130.089 million), SP 500 (PKR 126.022 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 103.982 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 4 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 5.225 million were traded.
