Gold prices gain

KARACHI: Gold prices on Monday further grew its value on the local market, traders said. The yellow metal gained more value by Rs1000 to Rs123800 per tola and Rs857 to Rs106138 per 10 grams.

The global market price of gold per ounce was cited for $1794. Silver was available for Rs1460 per tola and Rs1251.71 per 10 grams. On the world market, silver was quoted for $23.30 per ounce, traders said.
