KARACHI: On Friday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 21.659 billion and the number of lots traded at 10,721. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 13.099 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.938 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.354 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.261 billion), Copper (PKR 1.021 billion), Silver (PKR 740.798 million), DJ (PKR 444.297 million), Platinum (PKR 409.486 million), Natural Gas (PKR 319.899 million), SP 500 (PKR 37.194 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 32.078 million). In Agriculture Commodities, 9 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 7.047 million were traded.
