KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 6.948 billion and the number of lots traded 6,643.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 3.365 billion, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 1.053 billion, copper PKR 868.656 million, NSDQ 100 PKR 407.413 million, DJ PKR 395.398 million, silver PKR 287.238 million, crude oil PKR 204.241 million, natural gas PKR 186.175 million, platinum PKR 155.427 million and SP500 PKR 25.415 million.

In agriculture commodities, 5 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 2.894 million were traded.
