KARACHI: Judicial proceedings in higher and lower courts remained suspended on Friday to mourn the death of the Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court, Justice Waqar Ahmed Seth. Higher and lower courts observed a "mourning day" after the Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court ordered suspension of judicial activities in the courts of the province.
According to the Registrar of the High Court, judicial workings at the Sindh High Court and lower judiciary were suspended whereas hearings of important cases were held in the chamber of the judges.
