KARACHI: On Thursday, at PMEX the traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 7.792 billion and the number of lots traded 10,528.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 3.566 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 PKR 1.150 billion, DJ PKR 765.483 million, silver PKR 700.414 million, currencies through COTS PKR 461.084 million, copper PKR 345.854 million, natural gas PKR 309.068 million, platinum PKR 303.248 million, crude oil PKR 156.349 million and SP500 PKR 33.262 million. In agriculture commodities, 7 lots of soybean amounting to PKR 60.773 million, 10 lots of wheat amounting to PKR 50.556 million and 5 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 2.890 million were traded.
