Futures spread down by 490bps

KARACHI: The futures spread declined by 490bps to 4.78 percent on the last day of the outgoing week. Trading activities on the futures counter remained low as average daily volumes declined by 31.3 percent to 101.18 million shares as compared to previous week's average of 147.18 million shares. Average daily trading value on the futures counter decreased by 36.9 percent and stood at Rs 4.22 billion during this week.
