KARACHI: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will operate special flights to Najaf and Baghdad for the Zaireen to observe Arbaeen there, said the airline here on Tuesday. These special flights will be run from September 27 to October 5. According to PIA, these flights to Najaf and Baghdad will depart from Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.
PIA is also offering special discounts to the Zaireen. Commenting on the finalization of the flight schedule, PIA CEO Air Marshal Arshad Malik said that the airline felt privileged to be serving the Zaireen. He instructed PIA officials to provide the best of their services to the Zaireen. Earlier, the PIA CEO and the Iraq's ambassador to Pakistan held several meetings which led to the decision to run the special flight operation.
