ISLAMABAD: The number of confirmed coronavirus cases has again witnessed a significant decline in the capital city as only 21 tested positive on Tuesday as compared to 40 confirmed cases on Monday.

District Health Officer (DHO), Dr Zaeem Zia, in a tweet said the city has reported 21 positives cases out of 3,052 tests run. The positivity rate is back to the lower end 0.6 percent, he said, adding that we will take necessary actions to contain clusters, wherever we find them to keep the prevalence low.

According to the DHO Islamabad, with the emergence of new 21 cases, the number of Covid-19 cases in the federal capital has now reached 15,962 with 178 deaths and 15,454 recoveries. The total remaining active cases in the city is 330, the data says.
