Another petition filed on rain-related destruction

KARACHI: A petition was filed at the Sindh High Court (SHC) on Wednesday against rain-related destruction and loss of life in Karachi, which was joined with another similar petition the court is hearing.

The court issued notices to federal and provincial governments to submit their replies on September 9 to a petition filed by Mahmood Akhtar Naqvi against urban flooding and death of people during recent rains.

Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar said that the court would hear both the petitions by joining them.
