LAHORE: The novel coronavirus pandemic is continuously decreasing in Punjab as only 28 fresh cases were reported across the province with two deaths in the last 24 hours.
With 28 fresh cases out of 5,920 tests during the last 24 hours, the provincial tally has risen to 96,769 while the total number of deaths in the province is 2,198. With recovery of 10 more corona positive victims, the total number of recovered patients is 92,481.
While, as many as 135 coronavirus recoveries were reported across the country during the past 24 hours taking the tally to 280,682.
On the other hand, health professionals said that decline in corona cases is result of herd immunity developed by the community; however, it is premature to say that the virus has disappeared.
