RAWALPINDI: Police on the special directive of City Police Officer (CPO) Israr Ahmed Khan Friday launched special crackdown to net kite sellers and arrested 15 besides recovering over 2200 kites and 170 kite flying string rolls.
According to a police spokesman, police on the instructions of Punjab government would continue raids to book the law breakers.
He said, no one would be allowed to violate the kite flying ban and action in accordance with the
Law would be taken against kite sellers and kite flying ban violators.
The spokesman informed that special squads have been formed to net the accused while today, Deputy
Superintendents of Police and Station House Officers took part in the operation.
