The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) has awarded 'Mian Parvez Aslam Scholarships' to 12 needy female students of the Government Degree College for Women Dhok Kala Khan. A simple ceremony in this regard was held here on Friday, where Chairman Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi, Dr M Ashraf was the chief guest.
RCCI President Jawed Akhtar Bhatti, Former Presidents Najamul Haq Malik, Sohail Altaf, Dr Hassan Sarosh Akram, Ishfaq Mehmood Khan, Kashif Shabbir, Syed Ali Raza Saeed Shah and member executive committee also participated.
Speaking on the occasion, BISE Rawalpindi Chairman Dr M Ashraf said that RCCI recent step to award 'Mian Pervez Aslam Scholarship' to 12 students was praiseworthy. He said that services of legendary Mian Pervez Aslam for the uplift of the region would never be forgotten and office bearers of RCCI proved that they are moving forward in the foot steps of their leader.
Speaking on the occasion, RCCI President Jawed Akhtar Bhatti said that RCCI vision was education for all and initially RCCI took the responsibility of 12 students and this circle would expand in future. Former President Najamul Haq Malik said Mian Parvez Aslam (Late) was legendary leader and his directions would be followed by his successors. He was of the view that Rawalpindi Chamber would continue the said pious mission in future.-PR
