Principal, professor asked to appear before tribunal on March 5

The Inquiry Tribunal holding inquiry into death of patients of PIC, died after using defective drugs, issued notices to Principal, Services Institute of Medical Sciences, Lahore Dr Faisal Masud, and Professor of Pharmacology, Fatima Jinnah Medical College, Lahore, Professor Munaza Qayyum, to appear before the tribunal on March 5.
The tribunal is constituted to determine if such causes relate to the use of certain drugs, the source of such drugs, fix responsibility at each stage and to make recommendations to prevent such incidents in the future. Earlier, Principal, Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore Dr Javed Akram, appeared before the tribunal and made a presentation and also produced certain documents.
The Tribunal after asking him various questions directed to furnish more details in writing. Drug Inspector, Data Ganj Bakhsh Town, Lahore, Muhammad Saeed Iqbal. He replied the questions of the tribunal and placed documentary evidence in support of his version on record.
