ISE index gains 59.61 points

Equities moved both ways at Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Tuesday where investors adopted cautious approach amid increase in index. ISE-10 Index showed an improvement of 59.61 points from 2,660.97 points to 2,720.58 points. Turnover amounted to 494,825 shares as compared to previous volume of 204,604 shares.
Total 123 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks, 81, closed in positive territory and 42 closed in negative territory. The turnover of Lafarage Pakistan Cement was 306,000 shares. The volume of National Bank of Pakistan was 74,471 shares. The turnover of Bank of Punjab was 35,889 shares.
