Chairman of Shalimar Group of Companies and former senior vice president of Rawalpindi Chambers of Commerce Mian Muhammad Atique has announced to come into the fold of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM). Addressing a news conference at Nine Zero on Saturday, he reposed his full confidence in the leadership of Altaf Hussain, saying that Altaf Hussain was the only leader in the country who was pursuing the ideology of "Realism and Practicalism" of his party with complete sincerity and honesty.
He expressed his determination to work as a humble worker of the MQM for the progress, prosperity and stability of the country. "We will particularly make practical efforts to dispel the feelings of ill-will and misunderstandings that have been spread in the Punjab." On this occasion members of MQM Rabitta Committee were also present.
