42 Afghan nationals arrested in Taftan

A law enforcement agency on Saturday arrested 42 Afghan nationals who were trying to enter Iran illegally. Law enforcement agency personnel deployed on Pak-Iran border gate in border town of Taftan asked them to produce travelling documents. They were taken into custody when they could not produce their travelling documents. Later, they were handed over to the federal investigation agency for further probe.
The law enforcement personnel also arrested two human smugglers and confiscated two vehicles being used for human smuggling.
