The lawmakers in the session of the Balochistan Assembly underlined the need to form a committee of the parliamentary parties in the provincial assembly to hold dialogues with the Sindh government over killing of wife of MPA Mir Bakhtiar Domki, his daughter and their driver in Karachi.
The Assembly session started with Speaker Muhammad Aslam Bhootani in chair about 45 minutes before its schedule and remained continue for half an hour. Speaking on a point of order, Minister for Revenue and Awami National Party (ANP) leader Engineer Zamarak Piralizai said that Karachi had become a no go area for people of Balochistan.
He demanded to ask the Sindh government why people of Balochistan were being targeted in Karachi. Senior Minister for Planning and Development and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Maulana Abdul Wasey said that religion of Islam prohibited killing old men, women and children even in war. Minister for Industries Syed Ahsan Shah stressed the need to talk with the Sindh government over killing of citizens of Balochistan in Karachi.
Minister for Local Government and JUI-N leader Abdul Khaliq Bashar Dost said that leaders of parliamentary parties would have to go to streets to ensure end to target killing of people of Balochistan in Karachi. Minister for Law and Pakistan Muslim League-Q leader Shama Perveen Magsi underlined the need to constitute a committee of the parliamentary parties with immediate effect to initiate talks with the Sindh government over killing of Mir Domki's family. PML-Q MPA Sheikh Jaffar Mandokhel said that Balochistan Assembly would continue condemning killing of citizens of Balochistan in Karachi. Later, the chair adjourned the house for February 6 at 3pm.
