The City District Government Lahore has decided to constitute administrative committees, which will be responsible for making arrangements to welcome a Turkish delegation to the provincial capital in befitting manner. This was decided in a meeting, chaired by District Co-ordination Officer (DCO) Lahore Ahad Cheema, which was held here on Thursday to review arrangements for the arrival of the Turkish delegation.
While addressing the meeting, the DCO said the Mayor of Istanbul and his delegation would reach Lahore on February 20, and during his visit he would inaugurate the Lahore Solid Waste Management Project at Town Hall. Also, a civic reception would be held at Shalimar Garden in honour of the delegation and he would present the key of Lahore city to the Mayor of Istanbul, he added. He directed the concerned officers to present a report after finalising all arrangements and to decorate the city beautifully on the arrival of Turkish delegation. During the meeting, various proposals reviewed for arrangements as well.
