The Acumen Fund Pakistan community gathering will be held at a local hotel on February 4. This event is being held to bring the community of investees, partners and supporters in Pakistan together to celebrate and reflect on the work of social entrepreneurs. It will feature insights into the works of social enterprises in Pakistan that Acumen has invested in, as well as other programs in the country and around the world.
Keynote address will be delivered by Asad Umar, CEO of Engro Corporation, and the Acumen team will share the stories of its newest social enterprises providing essential products and services to the poor, other programs and its vision and plans for the years ahead. The event will also feature a panel discussion on building social enterprise space in Pakistan featuring its investees and other relevant stakeholders. Panelists will be using their unique insights to comment on the way forward for building the sector.
