'Dodos' at Davos!

The rest of the world is represented at the ongoing World Economic Forum's annual summit at Davos, by astute economists, outstanding world leaders, professionals par excellence and individuals with impeccable credentials, while my country, Pakistan has sent a bunch of clueless, most inarticulate, inept and incompetent freeloading, joy-riding "dodos" to enjoy the exotic Swiss Alps and have paid a fortune at the expense of the exchequer of one of the most impoverished nation.
The Pakistani delegation at Davos is led by a grossly tainted of massive corruption, credibility deficit, Prime Minister Gilani, who cannot make a one-minute error-free conversation in his incomprehensive and faltering English, (his Urdu is no better either), truly a nightmare for his audience to decipher his blabbering utterances, indeed! Incidentally, the nation has neither seen at Davos, nor knows the whereabouts of a grossly ineffective, non-functional, disoriented and dementia-afflicted Finance Minister, Hafeez Shaikh, who does not even know the name and, funnily enough, gender of the second-most important manager of country's finance and economy, the Governor of the State Bank, whom he had recently addressed as "Ms Shamshad Akhtar", the former governor, who had preceded the last two State Bank governors, Salim Raza and Shahid Kardar. No wonder the country's finance and economy are in total chaos and shambles!
PM Gilani is accompanied by a gaudily decked - up and designer bag carrying Foreign Minister, Hina Khar the Pakistani version of "Alice in wonderland", whose only qualification to stardom is a degree in restaurant management and hospitality business. One was appalled to read the statement of Khar, made the other day, in a talk show at Davos, where she, while dwelling on the subject of democracy, had the audacity to assert that, "There is no specific model for democracy" in the world to follow!
Yes, Khar, there is a well-defined global model of democracy, as followed and practiced across the world, which is principled and based upon good and transparent governance, enforcement of writ of the state, abidance to the rule of law, commitment and unflinching submission to the constitution and laws of the land, welfare of the people, astute management of economy, protection of civil liberties, individual rights, equal education to all, deliverance of timely justice and equal rights to all without any taboos and discrimination, including the minorities and weaker sections of the population, eradication of corruption, nepotism and corrupt practices in public life.
Undoubtedly, Khar is unaware of the globally accepted and practiced model of democracy, for, she only knows the PPP brand of model of sham democracy, which is firmly based on blatant loot, merciless plunder of national wealth by a corrupt to the core, coterie of rulers, massive mismanagement of affairs of the state, butchering of the national economy, abject lawlessness, rule of jungle, obscene defiance of the constitution and rule of law, perpetuation of a crafty, crooked dynastical dispensation, through deceit, lies, manipulation and exploitation of the downtrodden, under the hollow slogan of "Roti, Kapra aur Makan."
