Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ibad has said that 'Our Karachi' event is emerging as the identity of the metropolis. He was talking to the management of the event at the Governor House here on Sunday. The representative of the event included Nasreen Jalil, Sohail Wajahat and Azfar Siddiqui. The Governor said that the sixth edition of the event would have an international status.
He was of the view that the fortnight long event be so prepared that more and more people could participate in its programmes and enjoy. Dr. Ishrat said that it augurs well that delegations from abroad would also participate in the event. He said that 'Hamara Karachi' would help introduce the culture of the country as well as the lifestyle of the people. He directed the city administration and Commissioner Karachi to ensure every assistance to help make the event a great success. Administrator Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) Muhammad Hussain Syed, Commissioner Karachi Roshan Shaikh, Principal Secretary to the Governor, Mumtaz-ur-Rehman, were also present on the occasion.
