KCCA termed WeBOC as unfriendly system for trade

Karachi Customs Agents Association (KCAA) on Tuesday termed the Web Based One Custom (WeBOC) as unfriendly system for the trade. According to a press release, Faisal Mushtaq, General Secretary KCAA said the newly inducted WeBOC system has so many issues that the services providers are feeling handicapped.
As a matter of fact, when we solve one issue the other two are already there. The customs staff is also seen confused as most of the things are kept by PRAL, making the system unfriendly for the stakeholders. He urged the authorities to take remedial measures to resolve WeBOC related issues, saying that the system is creating adverse impact on trade and service providers.-PR
