Vision, philosophy and nonsense

This refers to January 7 media reports, quoting excerpts from senior PPP leader, Aitzaz Ahsan's interview to a local TV channel. According to report, Ahsan, during the above interview stressed the need for following vision and philosophy of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto in letter and in spirit. Ahsan, a man of words, profusely eulogised Bhutto and asserted that he "would be remembered in history as a revolutionary and visionary leader."
Aitzaz Ahsan is not only a well-known lawyer, but he is also an eloquent sycophant, disciple and champion of Bhutto's so-called delusionary vision and mixed up philosophy, or whatever. We have been listening to all the blabbering of Bhutto's vision and philosophy on a regular basis, from the PPP stalwarts and will continue to be subjected to this jarring and intangible overdose of misplaced eulogy.
One, an ignorant common citizen at a complete loss, would really like to know what truly is Bhutto's philosophy and what was his vision? Was the hollow slogan of 'Roti, kapra aur makaan', which neither he, nor could his illustrious daughter, or his self-professed "spiritual son" could provide to the promised downtrodden?
Was it the vision of Bhutto to destroy the national economy and stall the process of industrialisation under his ludicrous and lunatic 'nationalisation' drive, whereby not only major industrial units, big private corporate business houses and small cottage entities were taken over by the government, only to be handed over to party cronies, thus blatantly depriving the investors of their life-time possessions and institutionalising corruption in the country? Is it not utter nonsense to assert that Bhutto made the people aware of their political, individual and democratic rights? Can Ahsan substantiate his ludicrous assertion in this regard? Just ask the Bengalis and the outcast Ahmadis for the true answer.
Finally, does there exist an authentic document that spells out Bhutto's vision for the country and the nation, enshrined somewhere in the archives of PPP and those of Ahsan or in the shape, such as Benazir's hand-written, poorly-composed with numerous spelling mistakes will? There cannot be a greater farce to assert that Bhutto "sacrificed his life for the poor people of the country and proved his sincerity for the common man". This time around, the proof of the pudding does not seem to be in eating, but in cook's description! One does not know whether to laugh or cry at Ahsan's false claim. There has to be a limit even when it comes to sycophancy. Honesty is in short supply while sycophancy, thrives in it all forms and manifests.
