Senior bar member Khawaja Sultan laid to rest

A senior bar member Khawaja Sultan, 82, was laid to rest in Miani Sahib Graveyard here Saturday. He was father of former Advocate General Khawaja Haris. A large number of bar members and judges attended his funeral prayers.
LHC Chief Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed, IHC Chief Justice Iqbal Hameedur Rehman, Justice Umar Ata Bandial, Justice Nasir Saeed Sheikh, Justice Ijazul Ahsan, Justice Mansoor Ahmad Malik, Justice Sheikh Ahmad Farooq, SC Justice Khalilur Rehman Ramday (retired), LHC former CJ Khawaja Muhammad Sharif, senior lawyers including Anwar Kamal, Mian Israrul Haq, Mian Ilyas Khan and Muhammad Azhar Siddique were also attended the funeral. His Qul ceremony will be held on Sunday (today) after Asr prayers at 148-M Gulberg III.
