The Social Security Doctors Association (SSDA) Punjab has given 3 days' ultimatum to the bureaucracy of social security department to give the health professional allowance to all the doctors of social security failing which protest demonstration will be held at all social security hospitals of Punjab on Thursday (19-01-2012).
They also said that a complete strike would be observed at all social security hospitals of Punjab on 23-01-2012 Monday in which all the outdoor and indoor services will remain suspended but emergency and ICU services will remain open.
This was announced by Dr Safdar Hussain Baloch here on Saturday after provincial council meeting of SSDA Punjab. Dr Malik Mureed Hussain, Dr Talal from Multan, Dr Awais Ashraf, Dr Saleem Ghauri from Faisalabad, Dr Ihsan ur Rehman, Dr Umar, Dr Lubna Atta from Shahdrah, Dr Izhar Chatta, Dr Zammir from Kot Lakhpat, Dr M. Aslam Iqbal from Sialkot, Dr Mudassar, Dr Hafiz Waqar from Gujranwala and delegates from all the regions of Punjab. Office Bearers of PMA Professor Dr Ashraf Nizami, Dr Shahid Malik, Dr M. Tanveer Anwar, Dr Izhar Ahmed Chaudhry, Dr Dil Muhammad Mirza, Dr Talha Sherwani, Chairman YDA Pakistan, Dr Salman Kazmi General Secretary YDA Pakistan announced their full support.
