Jhagra elected PML-N's Secretary General

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Thursday unanimously elected Iqbal Zafar Jhagra as a party's new Secretary General. "All the leaders/members of Central Working Committee (CWC) and Central Parliamentary envisaged their confidence in the leadership of Iqbal Zafar Jhagra and his services for the party in the past, especially during the odd times including the dictatorial regime of military dictator General Pervez Musharraf (Retd)," a statement issued from party's central media office said.
Earlier, Sartaj Aziz was nominated for the slot, but he could not continue it due to his other engagements.
