Lawyers affiliated with Pakistan People's Party and other political parties from district Swabi on Wednesday announced to join Pakistan Tehreek Insaf PTI by quitting their parties. The lawyers made this announcement during a press conference held here at Peshawar Press Club.
The lawyers including Mian Fahim Advocate, member Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council and hailing from PPP, along with other lawyers representing different political parties, including Ahmad Ali Khan Advocate, president District Bar Association, district Swabi, Mustafa Kamal Advocate, former Nazim, Aziz-ur-Rehman Advocate, Hamayun Khan Advocate, Aqeel Khan Advocate, Naeem Khan Advocate, Sireer Khan Advocate, Sahibzada Arshad Ali Khan Advocate, Syed Waqar Ali Shah Advocate, Kamran Khan Advocate and other lawyers.
Mian Fahim Advocate, while speaking on the occasion said that the corrupt rulers are responsible growing messy situation in the province. He added that government had failed to resolve the issues confronting the country. He said that injustices, lawlessness and chaotic situation, has made life of the common man miserable. There was a need of a driven force to pull the country from the present uncertain situation, he added.
Flanked by Asad Qaiser, former PTI provincial President, and other activists, he criticised government for not taking any practical steps to address the core issues like electricity and gas crisis, saying that the unemployment, terrorism and corruption were at peak level in the country. He said that the country had faced enormous financial challenges due to growing foreign debts, saying that the growing borrowing and liabilities by International Monetary Fund and World Bank was making country as bankrupt. He said that PTI had raised voice against drone attacks, price hike, and unemployment and other key national issues.
