Pakistan Peoples Party's MNA and parliamentary secretary on Information, Mian Muhammad Azeem Khan Daultana was killed in an accident in the wee hours of Tuesday. According to the police, he was on his way to Vehari when he met a fatal accident on Kot Wali Bridge near Luddan. Daultana succumbed to his injuries while he was being shifted to hospital. His gunman also died on the spot.
He was a nephew of Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Tehmina Daultana MNA. Family sources said His wedding was taking place on February 5. Azeem Daultana, son of Zahid Daultana, was born on 4th April, 1979. He won the election of NA-168, Vehari-II in 2008 by defeating Ishaq Khan Khakwani and Tehmina Daultana.
