Former chief of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Qazi Hussein Ahmad has said that the United States has been defeated in Afghanistan, and wants to take revenge of its failure on the tribesmen of Pakistan. Talking to Zar Noor Afridi, deputy chief JI, FATA here Sunday, he said that the United States had turned the tribal area of Pakistan into a battle field and shed the blood of innocent people including children and women.
He said that violation of human rights and extra-judicial killings of the United States through drone attacks were highly condemnable acts. He said that the champion of the human rights and democracy in the world had declared war against Islam and Muslims in the world. He further said that the United States was shedding the blood of the innocent Muslims in the name of al Qaeda and terrorism. He said that the US was frightened of the Islamic changes in the Arab region, saying the success of the pro-Islam parties in Egypt, Tunisia and Morocco had surprised the United States and Europe.
