President of Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Goharullah has strongly condemned efforts to develop encroachment on the plot of Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce spread over 4,000 sq. yards allocated by chief minister's cabinet. He said that the encroachment cell is trying to encroach the plot located on Autobhan Road near Women Police Station in connivance with Hyderabad Municipal Corporation and commissioner of the division, Ahmed Bux Narejo.
He said that divisional authority is behaving with traders like 'stepmother'. He appealed higher authorities to take notice of the encroachment, warning that traders reserve the right to protest against the move. He said that HCCI tried many times to approach the commissioner to address this genuine problem of construction on the plot but the latter is avoiding members of the chamber on one or other excuse. Every time meetings are postponed giving different reasons, he said, adding that traders and industrialists are not happy with this act of DC and reserve the right to discuss the matter in their upcoming meeting.
