Pakistan People's Party (PPP) celebrated the 84th birth anniversary of its founder, former prime minister Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto on January 5, in befitting manner. A number of functions of cake cutting were held by all wings of PPP in Multan and across the Southern Punjab and organised various programmes to mark the occasion. Cake was cut by PPP (women wing), Youth wing, People's Labour Bureau, People's Youth organisation, PPP Multan city.
Addressing the major birthday anniversary in Multan Khurshid Ahmed Khan, Khalid Hanif Lodhi, Mukhtar Ahmed Awan, former Law minister, Malik Aamer Dogar MPA, Malik Ahmed Hassan Dehar, MPA, M Salim Raja,Tariq, Raza Khan, Rao Sajid, Saeed Moni, Rauf Lodhi shed light on struggle, philosophy, vision and various aspects of the life of founder of PPP to create awareness among masses in this regard.
PPP (Human rights wing) also organised a function, which was addressed by Punjab Governor's advisor Saleem-ur-rehman Mayo. They said that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto had given a unanimous constitution to the country. Party office-bearers said founding "PPP" with representation in the whole country was also a great achievement of Shaheed Z A Bhutto. He said the Shaheed leader, in fact, had given two constitutions in a brief spell, one was an interim constitution and the other, the unanimous Constitution of 1973.Whenever any dictator took power in the country, he had to suspend the Constitution of 1973, he added.
