Price control of edible items stressed

Chief Secretary Sindh, Raja Muhammad Abbas has emphasised upon the department of supply and prices and commissioners and deputy commissioners to ensure stability of prices of commodities and take action against defaulters in accordance with the law.
A statement, here on Tuesday, said that with reference to various reports regarding hike in prices, the CS noted that eradication of artificial dearness is much essential. Specifically, he added, prices of food items like milk, bread, eggs, vegetables and meat etc, must be controlled on priority basis to facilitate general as well as consumers of other items.
