Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Saturday dispelled the rumours that the fee for passport was being increased saying it would remain unchanged at Rs 2100. The interior minister was talking to newsmen at Karachi Airport. He said the government would complete its five-year tenure and it would won next general election. He said record development works have been executed in the country to bring betterment.
He said the law and order situation in the country has improved due to strategy of the government, which also enabled the political parties to hold public meetings. To a question, Rehman Malik said political parties in opposition are fond of criticising every step of the government. Speaking about law and order in Balochistan, the interior minister said he is in contact with the interior secretary and would also visit Quetta to review the situation in this regard.
