The flamboyant episode of Annual Sports Day was held at University of Education, Bank Road Campus in which teams consisting of students from different departments participated in various categories. The Vice-chancellor University of Education Dr Faiz-ul-Hasan was the Chief Guest. Competitions of athletics, race, musical chair and tug of war were held.
Competitions were also held between teaching and non-teaching staff of the university. Principal Bank Road Campus Professor Dr Farhat Saleem, Principal Lower Mall Campus Professor Tassaduq Hussain Khokhr, Director Division of Education Dr Khalid Mehmood, Director Division of Arts & Social Sciences Dr Mubsher Nadeem and other professors were also present. The vice-chancellor and other respected guests distributed prizes and shields among the winning teams and students.
Vice Chancellor University of Education Dr Faiz-ul_Hasan greeted the sports committee on efficacious launch of Sports Day and raised the spirits of students. He directed them to continue such kinds of healthy activities in future, as healthy body has a healthy mind.
