On Tues-day, the BRIndex30 opened at 8,376.82 points and remained in red for most of the trading session, except for the first few minutes after market opening. It touched the intra-day high of 8,396.34 points and low of 8,342.19 points, and closed at 8,350.04 points with a net negative change of -26.78 points, or -0.32 percent lower than previous close.
The volume was 13,906,867 shares, which was 71.03 percent of KSE All share volume and 93.08 percent of KSE-100 volume. The KSE All Share volume was 19,577,921 shares and KSE-100 volume was 14,940,804 shares.

BR Cement Index closed at 575.15 with a net negative change of -2.83 points or percentage change of -0.49 and turnover of 1,551,452 shares.
BR Power Generation and Distribution Index closed at 1,544.18 with a net negative change of -6.1 points or percentage change of -0.39 and turnover of 630,543 shares.
BR Tech & Comm Index closed at 251.30 with a net positive change of 2.77 points or percentage change of 1.11 and turnover of 593,722 shares.
BR Oil and Gas Index closed at 2,659.88 with a net negative change of -12.53 points or percentage change of -0.47 and turnover of 372,137 shares.
