Imran Khan distracts people: Daniyal

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Privatization Daniyal Aziz Thursday said Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan had always tried to distract people by giving wrong and baseless statements.

Talking to a private news channel, he said a single parliamentarian of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) was not disqualified on corruption charges, adding that former prime minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was disqualified on having an Iqama not on corruption charges which were alleged against him in the Panama Papers.

The minister said people had rejected the opponents of the PML-N and did not participate in the protest of opposition last night in Lahore and they were well aware of the politics of Imran Khan and his party.
