Commecs College organised the Interclass Quiz Competition on Thursday November 24, 2011. Syed Javed Raza Naqvi, renowned Quiz Master, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while Mirza Iqbal Baig, Senior Journalist, TV anchor and Sports Commentator, was present as the Guest of Honour.
The competition comprised of four rounds and was held in two phases. In the first phase, eight teams from First Year classes contested. The team of OHK Room clinched the first position, whereas the students of Bukhari-I and Crescent II Rooms secured the second and third positions, respectively. In the second phase, eight teams from the Second Year classes contested. Students of the Toyota Room clinched the first position, whereas the students of the UDL and MCB rooms bagged the second and the third positions.
The guests applauded the potential and knowledge of the young students and gave them some useful advises about reading books and making constructive use of their time. They highly appreciated the students' active participation in co-curricular activities.
In the end of the programme, the Principal CIBES, Cdr. Abdul Razaq (Retd) PN presented the college shields to the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour.-PR
