To qualify for participation, eligible entries should have been published in any registered media outlet between January 1, 2011 and December 24, 2011. The winners of each category will be rewarded with lucrative cash prizes, with first place being rewarded with Rs 50,000, second place rewarded with Rs 30,000 and third place being rewarded with Rs 20,000 respectively.
Speaking of the awards, Ayesha Eirabie, Communication Director, Tetra Pak Pakistan said, "As a socially responsible corporate entity, Tetra Pak Pakistan has a commitment towards the people of Pakistan. The Tetra Pak Media Awards is yet another activity to promote the importance of environment and food safety in Pakistan and is our way of encouraging our media to create further awareness on this vital subject matter."
The awards have been opened for submission, with full details available at the official Tetra Pak Pakistan website, www.tetrapak.com/pk.
