Grams prices move both ways on the wholesale grain market on Wednesday in process of trading, dealers said. On the cereal side wheat old and new Bardan were quoted at Rs 2680 and 2695, gur low type did not show any change at Rs 5000 while the best type was lower by Rs 400 to Rs 5600, they said.
On the grams side grams Australia No 1 shed Rs 100 to Rs 4500-4700, grams Australia dal No 1 low quality lost Rs 900 and the best type fell by Rs 700 to Rs 5800, yellow peas Canada, however, gained Rs 400 to Rs 4300-4500 but yellow peas Canada dal lost Rs 700 to Rs 3650-3850, yellow peas Ukraine rose by Rs 500 to Rs 4150-4350 and yellow peas Ukraine dal picked up Rs 750 to Rs 5000-5600, they added. On the seed side cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh low type was inert at Rs 950 and good type was up by Rs 50 to Rs 1050, other items retained overnight levels, they said. Prices were unmoved on the rice sector, they said.
