Forces kill 21 militants in Orakzai

Security forces backed by gunship helicopters on Monday pounded militants' hideouts killing 21 pro Taliban militants and injuring 25 others in Orakzai and Kurram tribal regions near Afghan border, local official sources said. In central Kurram agency, the security forces conducted search operation and in the ensuing gun battle shot dead 11 militants and injuring 25 others.
In upper Orakzai agency, the gunship choppers targeted militants' positions near Afghan border and killed 10 ultras besides destroying five hideouts.
