11 injured in Karachi cinema blast

At least 11 persons were injured in a minor blast inside a cinema hall in Juna Market area here on Sunday. SHO Kharadar Police Station, Ali Ahmed said that it seemed it was a minor blast of cracker, which occurred beneath the seats of a cinema hall causing some damage to the seats. The injured were rushed to civil hospital where condition of two persons is said to be serious. Others are said to be out of danger.
Edhi Information Service told APP that some of the injured have been identified as Ghulam Hussain, Rizwan, Ashfaq Ali, Shabbir and Sadiq. According to hospital sources, the injured have received minor wounds on lower part of their legs, who have been provided medical treatment.
