Ameer, Jamaat-e-Islami, Pakistan, Syed Munawar Hasan, has congratulated the nation on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha. In a message to the nation on Sunday, he said that the country was facing several crises. The rulers have brought the country on the verge of destruction. Sky rocketing prices of the daily commodities had made the life of poor people miserable. The law and order situation was worsening day-by-day.
The government had failed to protect the life and property of masses, he added. He said that due to the poor policies of the rulers the country had become almost a US colony. US drones were killing innocent citizens of Pakistan, he added. He said that the global situation was taking a new turn as the secular and capital systems in the West were taking their last breath. Muslim countries are awakening which could be witnessed in Tunisia, Libya, Syria and Egypt. He termed it 'renaissance of Muslims.' He held the western countries particularly the US responsible for revolutionary movements in Muslim countries because of the ill treatment they had done to Muslim countries.
He said that the US and its allies had taken a blood bath in Muslim countries such as Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, East Timor or Pakistan. Now the reawakening of the Muslim masses had put the US and western countries in trouble, he added.
He expressed his joy over the success of islamists parties in elections in Turkey and Tunisia saying that it had two-folded the pleasures of Eid-ul-Adha.
He said that it is Islam that has made people courageous and created among them a hope for a positive change. There is a message for Pakistani and whole Muslim world that Islam is the only solution to their problems. Islam is the only answer to western countries and the US's aggression, he added.
Syed Munawar Hasan said that the situation faced by Muslims demanded the spirit of sacrifice that had been enjoined by God and messenger Muhammad (PBUH).
